Senator Oluremi Tinubu, the First Lady of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, has received the prestigious honor of being named the Grand Patron of the African Para Games and Para Sports in Africa. The official ceremony took place at the Office of the First Lady, where Senator John Owan Enoh, the Minister of Sports Development, praised her significant contributions to sports development within the country.
Senator Enoh highlighted the First Lady’s dedicated support for the empowerment of youths, women, and men alike. He expressed confidence that her appointment as the Grand Patron would inject renewed vigor into the sector.
During her decoration by the President of the African Paralympic Committee, Samson Deen, he urged Senator Oluremi Tinubu to extend her influence by encouraging other First Ladies from across Africa to join as Grand Patrons of the organization in their respective countries.
